Professional Life

I received my BS degree from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey, in 2011; an MSc degree from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at TOBB University of Economics and Technology, Ankara, Turkey, in 2013. My Ph.D. degree is from the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of Florida International University, Miami, FL, the USA in 2017.

I am currently researching Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning for Wireless Communications as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Hamad Bin Khalifa University, Qatar Foundation, Doha, Qatar.

Before joining Hamad Bin Khalifa University (Qatar Foundation, Doha, Qatar), I was working for P.I. Works in Istanbul, Turkey, as a Machine Learning Researcher / Solution Architect. P.I. Works is a company that has solutions for Network Planning, Management and Optimization areas, creating Self-Organizing-Network tools. I worked at North Carolina State University, Raleigh, NC, as a Visiting Research Assistant between August 2016 – August 2017. From May 2016 to August 2016, I had an internship at Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories (MERL), Boston, MA, USA. I had two short term internships at Qatar Mobility and Innovation Center, Doha, Qatar, in May-June 2014 and 2015.
